This is a version of this sculpture that I made in glass. To be honest, it was not a straight forward process! I worked with a specialist company in Enfield called Instrumental Glasses, who have some extraordinary capabilities when it comes to creating some very technical glass solutions.
I actually found the output from our work to be interesting but not captivating. I think I find the properties of acrylic more engaging and much easier to work with.
I’m not saying I would not re-visit it, but for now I think glass does not add to my enquiries - so it’s here because it is interesting rather than because it is something I will actively develop.
