I remember as a child reading ‘The story of Ferdinand’, a 1936 book that tells the story of a Spanish Bull who would rather smell flowers than fight in bullfights. I hope this sculpture captures something of that spirit.

I have made a number of versions of El Toro in different sizes and materials. This one is made in marine grade steel, so he is OK outside or inside - and with a base that is only 30cm x 30cm, it can fit almost anywhere.
