‘Great White IV.4’ is ‘The Sale Shark’. I had the good fortune to meet club co-owners Simon and Michelle Orange in 2025, and was so inspired by the foundation they had established in 2010 to use rugby for positive community change. The Sale Sharks Foundation’s mission is to promote health, wellbeing, and education by offering opportunities in rugby and sports for people of all ages and abilities, fostering community connections, and supporting specific programmes such as their Sharks Forces program for service personnel. I decided to create one of my sharks - in the club colours - and to donate it to raise funds for the foundation.

The Great White sharks series was created to raise awareness of marine conservation issues, but I delighted that, through the Foundation, it will also support community and sports engagement.
