This sculpture is another example of my layered, acrylic portrait work. It uses the same method as ‘Outside In’; ‘Gang of Three’; ‘Being Me’, and ‘Brother & Sisters’.

I was interested to see how much of the information that we usually associate with recognising someone could be taken away – and whether that would reveal something.

‘I was immediately drawn to this sculpture. It captures the intimacy of a moment.  I get joy from it every day’. (Dublin, Ireland)

As is implied in the name, this is a very personal and unique way to portray a family group. If you would like to discuss a group portrait in this style, please feel free to contact me directly.
