This sculpture goes back to the exploration that started at art college about who I am and my place in the world. It is directly associated with ‘Being Me I’, and indirectly with another sculpture I made at the time called ‘My Space’ but this sculpture is created in vertical sections.

This is the ‘negative’ version, in a box. The form has been cut out, so there is actually nothing there – it is just the visual traces of what has been cut out.
